With Christopher Nolan out of the running to direct Justice League, Warner Bros. is reportedly looking at Zack Snyder to direct their superhero ensemble. Here’s an excerpt from an article about the Man of Steel filmmaker in the upcoming issue of Empire Magazine.
Director Ruben Fleischer, who was on the short list of candidates to direct Justice League last year, was recently asked if he would still be interested in taking on the project. Here is his intriguing response, which lends more credence to Zack Snyder taking the helm.
Warner Bros. executive Jeffrey Robinov teased last month that the studio will be making a big announcement in the near future, in regards to their upcoming slate of DC Comics superhero movies. However, since Man of Steel doesn’t open until June, it seems unlikely that we’ll hear about who directs Justice League, whether it be Zack Snyder or not, until mid-June or even July.
