Around Here

Around Here is a science fiction and drama film about an Iraq and Afghanistan war veteran suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) who finds healing through an extraordinary encounter.

Today PTSD is a popular subject in cinema because we deal with it everyday as a society. According to CostsOfWar.org over 2.5 million service members have been to war since 2001 and almost half have been deployed more than once.

After five years and one deployment in the U.S. Marines Tim has met too many people who have the symptom of war we call PTSD. This story was inspired by them.

The film will be shot entirely in Colorado and we expect to begin production this summer.

The Pineville Heist

The Pineville Heist is an on the edge-of-your-seat thriller about a likeable teen who stumbles into the aftermath of a bank robbery gone wrong.  Hiding under a canoe, Aaron glimpses the murder of one of the robbers.  In the chaos that ensues he sneaks away with the money and heads straight for the closest place of safety, his school.  Terrified, Aaron tells his shocking tale to Amanda Becker, his drama teacher, but it doesn’t take long for one of the psychotic robbers to show up.  In the locked down school the pair are relentlessly pursued in a quest to get the money back and wipe out the evidence.

The Last Taxi Driver

The Last Taxi Driver is pissed off.  He proudly displayed his Medallion, picking up the public and was saving for a new Prius Cab.  Then the Zombie Apocalypse happened, and they no longer make Prius’s, and even if they did, there’s no one to pick up.  Plus, when you finally find a customer, you have to make sure they don’t try and eat you.

The Drive

The Drive, is about an imaginative, young staff writer who is driven to finish a final creative project for a long over due promotion. One night. One mistake. One stranger. One chance is all she has left.

It is a psychological thriller that touches upon the dangerous implications of being too driven to accomplish a dream, and sheds light on the power of the imagination within our young female protagonist, Lilly Cimini, as she grapples with her sense of devotion, destiny, and dysfunctional ambition.  We feel our audience will appreciate the story for the uniquely crafted plot and character driven storytelling.

Universal Language – A Short Film

If you woke up next to a stranger who didn’t speak your language… what would you say if you could say anything?
